Based on Gallup’s CliftonStrenghts Assessment, this workshop allows participants to identify, recognize and understand their top five talents through interactive group discussions, partner sharing, and self-reflections. This professional development workshop can be tailored to students and staff.

LinkedIn Optimization

LinkedIn is a versatile platform and is continuously evolving to meet the demands of job seekers and recruiters. In this workshop, I teach participants how to create a professional, industry targeted and marketable LinkedIn profile. I demonstrate strategies on how to maximize the platform for networking, exploring careers and industries, connecting with recruiters, building an online presence, optimizing the job search process and exploring new tools and features.

Resume and Cover Letter Essentials

Participants will learn how to strategically tailor a resume for their target audience. Participants will go through some exercises to brainstorm and self-reflect on accomplishments and experiences that can be highlighted in their resume and cover letter accordingly.

Interview Strategies

This interactive workshop focuses on all areas of interview preparation from attire, identifying your professional value, researching the company, answering common and challenging questions, responding to behavioral-based questions, and following up.

How to Conduct an Effective Job Search

Whether job seekers are preparing for their first job search or participants are ready for a career transition, this workshop focuses on ways to get started with the job search process. Participants will learn strategies for an effective job search in today’s market, how to leverage their social network, explore resources and tools, and create a systematized approach to get organized and stay focused.

Communication and Email Etiquette

This workshop can be tailored to various audiences including high school students, undergraduate and graduate students, and established professionals. Topics include: recognizing our communication style in the workplace, email etiquette, and asking for letters of recommendation.

Establishing a Personal and Professional Brand

This interactive workshop helps participants become aware that their brand is in everything they do including social media engagement, attire, communication and every day behavior and social interactions.

How to Conduct an Informational Interview

This workshop is designed to provide strategies for conducting an effective and intentional informational interview. The workshop covers topics including: career goals, identifying key professionals, connecting on LinkedIn, professional communication and correspondence, interview etiquette and following-up.
